Thank you for the opportunity to apply for your position. Through proven strengths in creativity, collaboration, and problem solving, and more than 5 years of experience I know I’d be a perfect fit. By applying to your position, I am seeking to leverage my passion of combining artistic visual representation with mass communication into the world of sports marketing.

An enthusiastic, charismatic, creative with a Master's Degree in Sports Industry Management and a Bachelor's in Mass Communication, an emphasis in digital advertising and a minor in photography from Louisiana State University. I have experience in high-paced, team-oriented, results-driven communications departments that grew my portfolio with brochures, advertisements, infographics, and web content using several tech tools, including Indesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom. My abilities have created a plethora of opportunities in marketing and communications departments alike.

My personal interactions with sports have more than impacted my experiences, my upbringing and my outlook on life which fuel my passion to be a part of the future of sports marketing and reaching a new audience through digital media initiatives and community relations programs.

My most recent experience during the inaugural year of the Cleveland Guardians organization has provided experiences in game-day event planning, player operations, in-game presentations, and non-profit fundraising on the professional level that coincide with the Manager’s daily responsibilities. Alongside the Community Impact Director and Manager of the Cleveland Guardians, I supported all player program appearances and operations, and hosted functions between players and community organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club or local fire stations, community leaders and special guests in collaboration with MLB initiatives. This involved facilitating the 50/50 Raffle, aiding volunteer signup and implementation, and coordinating genuine outreach opportunities for the franchise to reach their local communities. This position required learning how to work with other departments while developing relationships with influential members of the community to create and implement programs that would positively impact youth and the diverse community that make-up Cleveland.

I was given the sole responsibility of growing their community impact brand, CLE Inspires, through all digital media outlets while supporting the Community Impact department in successful initiatives and programs. Amongst content creation, daily responsibilities involved overseeing all internal and external communications for their department including newsletters, 50/50 Raffle email blasts, media pitches, newsletters, webpage updates, creative requests and management. Each post began to garner over 50,000 impressions regularly to their local audience and doubled followers on all accounts across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This included finding an appropriate tone, creating templates, and initiatives to reach the team's fanbase and community such as 'Small Business Week' and 'Hispanic History Month' spotlights. Through this experience, I found an incredible passion to facilitate community relations events as an avenue of communications to better develop engagement and impact the overall experience of fans, players, and the surrounding community.

As a communications intern at the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame, I received non-profit experience in athletic communications, project management, event marketing, and social media management I can supplement into this role if given the opportunity. As you can see, I am a comprehensive applicant with great success in retail and as a freelance marketing consultant which required mastery in multitasking, prioritizing, active-listening, building genuine relationships, and exceeding expectations in responsibility and daily duties.

From graphic designer to brand consultant and leader of creative projects, my resume is a culmination of experience that has prepared me for your position. Hired as the Marketing Intern for Heritage Ranch Children's Home in Louisiana (2019), and freelance consultant for the Brighton School and RES Consulting (2020), these positions required a rotating social media calendar, working closely with a media consultant on rebranding actions, promoting the rebrand on social media, and more. These opportunities provided me with valuable professional skills while learning to take criticism and keeping a hardworking attitude which would make me a suitable fit for your program.

A successful freelance photographer for 9 years, I specialize in crafting memorable images through portraiture or displaying the best of a brand through commercial photography.  My large portfolio encompassing athletic portraits, weddings, professional headshots, maternity sessions, a self-produced art show (Re•Present 2019), and the LSU Tiger Band.  Photography created my passion of working and sharing with people and other creative artists.  This experience shows personal initiative and individual drive through the years as a successful freelance photographer.

I have spent over 3 years as a retail associate and inventory lead receiving management commendation for excellent customer communication.  I excelled in sales techniques, growing a large clientele, as well as understanding the business of Coach, Inc.  All of this experience would go hand in hand with the position you are looking for.  With knowledge in digital advertising, graphic design, sales, and photography,  I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss further how I can help deliver excellence in your organization.
